VOLUNTEER IN MISSOURI

Join us in demonstrating love, dignity, and hope to individuals affected by trafficking and exploitation, and in supporting the work that makes that care possible.

Volunteers can serve NightLight in a variety of ways. Some opportunities involve direct outreach and relationship-building with individuals working in the commercial sex industry or survivors of trafficking and exploitation. Others provide important behind-the-scenes support that strengthens our programs and helps extend NightLight’s mission.

Depending on current needs, volunteer opportunities may include:

• Outreach and prayer. Participating in outreach, building trusting relationships, and offering prayer and spiritual care. These opportunities are limited and may vary based on current team capacity.

• Freedom business support. Helping with our freedom business operations and special events, or serving in our boutique on C-Street.

• Communications. Using skills such as writing, graphic design, photography, video, social media, website support, or analytics to help tell NightLight’s story.

• Donor and fundraising support. Assisting with thank-you projects, donor communications, grant research, data, reporting, or other projects that help strengthen the community of support behind NightLight’s work.

• And more. Needs change over time, and we’re often able to match volunteers’ skills, interests, and availability with practical ways to serve.

Whatever the role, we value volunteers who approach those we serve and one another with compassion, humility, consistency, and respect.

Volunteers are required to complete an application and training process, as well as a criminal background check.
