NightLight Foundation

The nonprofit organization offering holistic intervention and restoration for women, families, and communities affected by the global sex industry.

"Thailand is a source, destination, and transit country for trafficking in persons. In this report, Thailand was ranked on the Tier 2 watch list in terms of their efforts to combat human trafficking. Fueled by a growing demand, countless women and children from around the world are victimized by gender inequality, poverty, and cultural obligations. They are sold or pressured into prostitution and trafficked in and out of Bangkok to sustain an increasingly global network. Trafficking in human beings is now tied for the number two spot in global crime. It is also the fastest growing."

NightLight also seeks to intervene when children are solicited for prostitution, and to work with guardians to protect at-risk children.

NightLight is passionate about introducing women and children to love, mercy, and healing by giving them opportunities to grow spiritually strong and become influencers in their communities.

NightLight also serves to educate the public (locally and internationally) on the physical, psychological, legal, and economic consequences of prostitution and trafficking, and invites their involvement in advocacy and follow-up care. NightLight Bangkok takes seriously the task of equipping and training leaders, visionaries, and catalyzers from around the world with resources and skills to combat trafficking and prostitution in their own communities.

Volunteers are a critical part of our NightLight Bangkok team. NightLight Bangkok volunteers spend at least 1 year serving in Bangkok with our team. Volunteers are responsible for providing their own support for travel, lodging, and other expenses incurred. Though this does require some preparation and investment, we know each volunteer learns and experiences so much in their time with us.

We are honored to work with dedicated individuals who give selflessly to help set the captives free.
