Why do we do what we do? Because every person has dignity. Every person has value. Every person is worthy of love.
To offer intervention to sexually exploited women and children, to enable them to discover their dignity, and to provide a program of holistic transformation, empowering them to live and work in their community.
NightLight is an international organization compelled by love to reach out to, rescue, and restore all those who are negatively impacted by sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation.
HOW WE BEGAN
In January 2005, NightLight began to address the lack of opportunity for women trapped in Bangkok’s sex trade by providing them with a viable alternative means for supporting themselves.
WHERE WE WORK
NightLight’s branches build relationships and provide hope, intervention, and assistance to individuals in the sex industry through programs designed specifically for each branch’s local context. NightLight branches also build support networks nationally and internationally to intervene and assist those whose lives are negatively impacted by the sex industry. OUR APPROACH
We are passionate about serving those who have been forgotten, those who have been overlooked, and those who might normally seem too difficult. Rather than shrinking back from the challenges, our heart is for any victim of sex trafficking or exploitation that crosses our path.
We search actively and strategically for individuals in need of assistance. Our ultimate goal is not only to demonstrate love and affirm dignity, but also to offer a hand out of the exploitation and into a restored, purposeful, and transformed life.
We believe strongly in holistic restoration, recognizing that the issues are complex and that true transformation and healing come with time and attention to the whole person, their family, and their community. Holistic restoration addresses the spiritual, emotional, physical, economic, social, familial needs, and the many complex pressures that contribute to a person's situation.
We are passionate about understanding and meeting both spiritual and practical needs. We engage in relationships in order to learn and meet both types of needs.

NIGHTLIGHT DESIGN
NightLight Design is a registered Thai business that offers dignifying employment and personal development opportunities to women who have come out of prostitution or trafficking in Thailand, or who have been at risk of prostitution or trafficking.
OUR LEADERSHIP
Our board members are passionate about this mission. In the US, NightLight is governed by the NightLight International Board of Directors. In Thailand, NightLight Foundation is governed by our Thailand-based Board of Directors. Our board members come from a variety of backgrounds--business, finance, ministry, social justice, and more. But all our board members have one thing in common: They are passionate about freedom, restoration, and dignity for those in the darkest of places.
